Waynetown -- Mrs. Mary E. WEST, 84, a lifelong resident of Waynetown died at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday in her home. She had been ill 3 weeks. Mrs. West was born July 23, 1864 at Waynetown the daughter of John and Martha Tracy BIDDLE. She was married July 31, 1884 at Waynetown to Thomas N. West, who died six years ago. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, John of Waynetown and George of Lafayette; two daguhters, Mrs. Verna Cory of Danville, Il; and Mrs. May Zachary of Crawfordsville, one brother, Oscar Biddle of Darlington; 34 grandchildren; 30 greats and 3 great greats. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the family residence with Rev. John Cassaday officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence after 6 p.m. Wednesday. - kbz
